We did not meet with my teammates personally almost the entire week but we still got in touch with each other in text messaging and Facebook chat. Our CEO decided to carry the team as the pitcher for the coming Saturday pitching competition in which all the groups in Technopreneurship will gather to deliver their pitching speeches to the panel that includes our instructor.
One of my teammates made the PowerPoint presentation. I was only asked to create a name for our startup. We decided to call it “Homie,” a hotel accommodation service which gathers the available hotels in the city for customers’ easy and convenient selection.
The pitching competition went late for us engineering students because it was consisted of different colleges and the College of Engineering and Architecture was the last to deliver their speeches. We waited until evening. It was nearly 8:00 PM when got our turn to deliver. Only the pitcher was allowed to speak in front of the panel. The rest of my teammates were on the other side watching as the pitching went underway. In the end, our CEO has delivered his speech greatly. Our presentation went well and we called it a day for us.
